A couple of happenings in Middleburg that are coming up:
From April 14th to the 27th, Middleburg is holding it’s Jump into Spring Celebration, which includes specials at town restaurants, Arbor Day events on the 26th, A Taste of Middleburg (buy a $5 passport to sample foods throughout the town, and participate in a scavenger hunt), hayrides sponsored by Middleburg Bank, and Treats on Trees, where shops will have decorations to buy for $1 with prizes and discounts inside. For more details, visit the website for the town here.
The Middleburg Spring Races are set for April 19th, with the post time for the first race at 1:30 pm. There are six races, with total purses of $165,000, with proceeds benefitting The Glenwood Park Trust and other local charities. For parking and ticket information, call 540-687-6545, or visit the website at www.MiddleburgSpringRaces.com.
Cheers,
Heather
