The town of Purcellville is holding the 2nd public input session on the Townwide Transportation Plan from 12 to 3 on Saturday, June 14th at the Town Hall (130 E. Main Street). At the top of each hour they will do a short presentation on the progress of the project, and attendees will have a chance to talk with town staff, project consultants, and Project Advisory Committee members about. The Bluemont and Purcellville Rotary Clubs are sponsoring the Purcellville Centennial Potluck Dinner & Oldtime Dance at the Purcellville Skating Rink on Saturday, May 17th. Dinner is at 5:30, and dancing starts at 7:30. Prizes will be given for creative Centennial costumes! Also on Saturday, May 17th, the Purcellville Preservation Association is holding the Centennial Heritage Day, with a 10 a.m. kids parade from West Main St. to the Train Station, and a family fair from 11 to 4 at the north end of 21st Street at the Train Station.
