Ashburn Village welcomed it’s first residents in 1988, and is now the largest neighborhood in LoCo with over 5000 homes. Similar to Ashburn Farm, numerous sub-neighborhoods with their own distinct architecture and feel fill the community. One of the main attractions is the Sports Pavilion, located on Ashburn Village Road next to the aptly named Pavilion Lake. With more than 32,000 square feet of indoor space, the facility features both indoor and outdoor 25-Meter pools and outdoor wading pool; exercise, aerobic, and Advanced Training Center; sauna and steam rooms; full-size gymnasium; racquetball, squash and outdoor tennis facilities that are enclosed for winter play; locker rooms; pro-shop; nursery; and marina for non-motorized boating. Membership is required, but is not limited to Ashburn Village residents.
Other community amenities include 7 additional stocked ponds, 3 outdoor pools, 3 community centers, tennis courts, tot lots, and many miles of walking/ biking trails.
