Taken riding the back roads of Loudoun County, and it made me smile. Despite being so close to Washington DC and so much urban space, sights like this are not uncommon here, and it’s part of why I love where I live.

The A.V. Symington Aquatic Center, the new outdoor pool at Ida Lee in Leesburg, is really starting to take shape! Plans are for it to have a lazy river, plus the slides you see on the left. According to signs posted inside, it is supposed to open in May! Check out the plans here.
