If you enjoy listening to live music, there is no shortage of concerts coming up in Loudoun County this summer for you to attend. In downtown Leesburg, the Acoustic on the Greeen Series is back on Saturdays from 7 to 9 pm at the Town Hall Green on Market Street. The next concert, on the 12th, features Chelsea Lee. Lansdowne Town Center is hosting free music at its’ Village Green on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm, sponsored by Beazer Homes, Centex, and Van Metre Homes. The July 9th concert is Cheap Date, followed by Drivin’ Blind on the 16th, Westpole on the 23rd, and Steve Palmer Band on the 30th. August 6th will be Small Town, then the Josh Burgess Band on August 13th. The Texas Chainsaw Horns will play on the 20th, followed by the Larry Thomas Project on August 27th.
The Bluemont Concert Series is back as well at the Old Loudoun Courthouse lawn in Leesburg on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. This Sunday, you can hear New Orleans Zydeco beign played by L’Angelus. Admission is $5 to the general public, $4 for Bluemont Friends and Seniors, and $2 for children under 12. You can get the full lineup on their site at www.Bluemont.org.
And of course there is the Loudoun Summer Music Fest at Belmont Country Club on Sunday evenings at 7. Admission is $15 in advance or $25 at the gate; Gold Circle seating is $35. Travis Tritt is playing this Sunday with One Horse Town. More information for this venue is at www.LiveatBelmont.com .
