Heather and I have had the good fortune to build two homes from scratch. Not everyone has had that opportunity, so over the next several months I am detailing the process my clients, John and Pam, are going through during the construction of their new Miller & Smith home. This is Part 6 of that story, but you can catch up by reading Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5.
Noticeable changes to the exterior this week, as we now have brick and siding in place. The porch is nearly complete, and the steps leading to the back yard were being finished when I stopped by. On the inside, all of the electric was roughed in and interior garage door was installed. Next Monday we have the pre-drywall walk through inspection, where we make sure all of the structural options are correct. Check back next week for another update.
