LoCoMusings is the website of The LoCo Real Estate Team (LoCo Real Estate, LLC), licensed with Century 21 Redwood Realty, 44095 Pipeline Plaza, Suite 300, Ashburn, VA 20147.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use www.locomusings.com, our home search at homes.locomusings.com, and our related websites and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. “We,” “us” and “our” mean The LoCo Real Estate Team.

- Home search registration: your name, email address and, if you choose, phone number. You can also register using a social media account, which shares your name and email with us.
- Saved searches and favorites: the homes, areas and search criteria you save.
- Contact forms and questions: your name, email, phone and anything you write in your message.
- Home value requests: your property address and contact details, collected through our home valuation tool.
- Email updates: your email address when you sign up for our newsletters or market updates.
Information collected automatically
- Browsing on our home search: the listings, photos and searches you view, so we can send relevant updates.
- Site usage: pages visited, links clicked, how far you scroll, time on the site, and the site that referred you.
- Device details: IP address, browser type, device type and approximate location (city or region, based on IP address).
Information from other sources
- Public records, such as property and tax records.
- Social media profiles you connect with us or that are publicly available.
- Data providers that help us keep contact details accurate and current.
- Email and text conversations synced to our client management system.

Our brokerage, Century 21 Redwood Realty, as needed to handle a real estate transaction or meet licensing and recordkeeping rules.

Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of you, us or others.

- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also change or turn off listing alerts in your home search account.
- Text messages: we text you only if you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
- Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a transaction you are working on with us.
We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal or licensing reasons.
- Stop using your information for marketing.
You can also update your details, saved searches and alerts yourself in your home search account. To make a request, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for making a request.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, such as secure (HTTPS) connections and password-protected systems, to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, including real estate recordkeeping rules.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Listing information and other websites
Listing data on our home search is provided by the multiple listing service and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Our site links to other websites, such as schools and local government. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
