Lansdowne

Lansdowne neighborhood in Leesburg

The Scoop:

Lansdowne started bridging the gap between Leesburg and Ashburn when development started in the late 1990’s. Originally only a resort with a golf course and spa, the growing residential community quickly became one of the most desired locations in Loudoun.  Homes in the neighborhood were built by Basheer & Edgemoore, Beazer Homes, Brookfield, Centex, NV Homes, and Van Metre.

The Town Center is a mix of retail, restaurants, and office space, surrounded by condos and town homes. Residents have the luxury of being within walking distance to Panera, Starbucks, and Harris Teeter. There are all sorts of restaurants, a yoga studio, a bank, a CVS Pharmacy, nail and hair salons, and more.

The focal point of the Lansdowne community is the 30,000 square foot Potomac Club complex. Amenities include a 25 meter indoor pool, heated whirlpool and locker rooms, outdoor resort style pool with spa, exercise and aerobics rooms, business center, meeting rooms, a ballroom facility, and a game room with pool table, television, air hockey table, foosball and video games.

Also included in the neighborhood is Leisure World, an exclusive 55+ community close to the resort which overlooks the Potomac River and the original golf course.
