The Scoop: 

Located between Braddock Road and Route 50 in the southwest portion of Loudoun, the South Riding community in Chantilly has the feel of a small town while delivering all of the amenities a larger town can offer. Toll Brothers designed and built the neighborhood of more than 5000 homes, including patio, single family, and townhome options. Residents enjoy four clubhouses with swimming pools, 12 playgrounds/tot lots, a dog park, a pickleball court, tennis courts, a bocce ball court, two fishing piers, two beautiful neighborhood parks, and miles of scenic trails. There are so many amenities that they have a map published on the HOA website to help navigate them all. (There’s a skate park, too!)

One of the main attractions of the community is the Dulles South Multipurpose Center, a community center run by the Loudoun County Parks and Recreation Department offering a preschool, senior center, and community services activities. Now that all phases are complete, the center features two swimming pools, a gym with an elevated track, a fitness area, an exercise studio, and child, adult, and senior care and services. There’s also a climbing wall!

And if that isn’t enough, the neighborhood is also home to South Riding Golf Club, an 18 hole Championship course designed by Dan Maples which opened in for play 1997. The club is semi-private, so it’s open to everyone and also has numerous membership options.
