Ashburn Real Estate
Ashburn is well known as Loudoun’s still-growing bedroom community, and is located in the heart of the county. Ashburn’s historic area includes the Partlow’s Store area, where the Washington & Old Dominion train would stop. Now, the W&OD hiking and biking trail passes through, and Carolina Brother’s Pit Barbeque is set up in the old Partlow’s store. It’s not just homes, though, as a significant portion of the world’s internet traffic flows through the server farms in and around Ashburn. In fact, AOL has called Ashburn home since they first got started.
There are numerous neighborhoods within Ashburn, each with its’ own architectural style and character. Ashburn Farm and Ashburn Village were built first, followed by newer subdivisions like Broadlands, Brambleton, and One Loudoun. You can explore Ashburn’s neighborhoods using the menu on the right.
