Sterling Park

Sterling Park is one of the first planned communities in Loudoun County, and is of course located in Sterling. The neighborhood was developed in 1963 on farmland and construction of the homes, priced $14,800 to $22,500 was completed by 1967. At the time, Sterling Park was home to lots of government workers and their families, a true DC bedroom community. Since then, Loudoun County has grown and developed around it, making the neighborhood centrally located for enjoying restaurants and shopping in Reston Town Center, One Loudoun, or the Loudoun Station developments. Other Sterling neighborhoods that were developed not long after Sterling Park include Sugarland Run, on the other side of Route 7, and Countryside.

If you like to golf, Sterling Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 3 private club with a restaurant, driving range, putting area, and requires no initiation fee. Sterling Park also has swim club, a community center, various schools, businesses, churches and parks.  Homes in the community are modestly sized and typically include off street parking and/or garages with decent sized yards. Many were built as single level ranchers with brick facades.
