Old Dominion Valley

Purcellville, Virginia

The Scoop

Old Dominion Valley is a Purcellville community of 137 single family homes built between 2002 and 2004, part of Loudoun County’s fast growth period. Like many neighborhoods constructed in that time, the homes are typically center hall colonials with 2300 to 3300 finished square feet on the upper two levels, depending on the floor plan. Most lots are a quarter acre to a third of an acre in size, although some range up to a half acre.

Old Dominion Valley is close to both the Purcellville post office and Fireman’s Field. The neighborhood also has a few walking trails nearby including Chapman DeMary Trail, Suzanne Kane Trail, and the W&OD Trail. If you are a golf or tennis lover, the neighborhood is just down Main Street from the Loudoun Golf & Country Club, and just off Route 7, you’ll find Stoneleigh Golf & Country Club. The neighborhood sits just off Main Street, where foodies can find the Purcellville Family Restaurant, 900 Degrees Brick Oven Pizza, and Gruto’s Soft Serve. Downtown Purcellville is also home to Catoctin Creek Distillery, the first distillery to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia since Prohibition days.
