Villages of Purcellville

The Scoop

The Villages of Purcellville is an established neighborhood of 90 homes that were built by Richmond American Homes in the 1990s. The community is the first one you encounter as you come into Purcellville from the east, and sits across from Patrick Henry College. The Purcellville Gateway shopping center is just a quarter mile away, which includes the Harris Teeter grocery store, Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Coaches Corner Grill (a personal favorite of ours!), Sweet Frog frozen yogurt, and BKD Bagels. While there may not be many amenities in the community, the location, walking trails, and community feel help attract homeowners to the neighborhood.

Homes in the neighborhood typically have plenty of bedrooms and living space, and most (if not all) have full basements. The community amenities are limited, with just a tot lot on site, but Purcellville is home to Franklin Park, which has an outdoor swimming pool and plenty of recreational space. As of spring 2022, the neighborhood is mapped to attend Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary, Harmony Middle, and Loudoun Valley High School. The Villages of Purcellville neighborhood is located in the heart of Purcellville with access to the businesses and restaurants newly opened across the Gateway shopping center including Dunkin’ Donuts, Manhattan Pizza, and Chipotle. There’s plans for new construction in the Gateway shopping center to include a new eating establishment nearby Manhattan Pizza and Shell gas station to be finished in the next few years.
