The Scoop:

The Ashburn Farm neighborhood started in 1986, when Cavalier Land Development broke ground on the former Gray Dairy Farm in Ashburn. The result was winding boulevards, mature trees and a suburban feel, minutes from Dulles International Airport and just about anywhere in Loudoun County. Ashburn Farm is massive, covering more than 1,300 acres is bordered by the Dulles Greenway, Belmont Ridge Road, Ashburn Road, and the W&OD Trail. There are nearly 4,000 homes in the neighborhood, including a mix of single family homes and townhomes.

Community amenities are extensive, including 19 tot lots, 5 ponds stocked with fish (catch and release), and 28 miles of bike and exercise trails. There are 3 outdoor swimming pools, one of which boasts a reclaimed windmill from the original estate, 12 tennis courts, 8 basketball courts, 2 soccer fields, a baseball field, and a beach volleyball court. There’s also an outdoor pavilion that you can reserve for celebrations and events and a community center with room rentals. Ashburn Farm is a vibrant and thriving community with a distinct personality. The community association is active with lots of options for folks living in the neighborhood to engage and enjoy life there. The central location of the community makes commuting easy, whether using the toll road or Route 7 to reach eastbound places. The variety of home styles and home types makes for a wide range of prices and offerings, and there is no shortage of nearby restaurants, shopping, and activities.
