The Scoop:
The town of Round Hill, in western Loudoun, was incorporated in 1900 and named for a 910 foot high hill located two miles outside of town. Originally situated as the terminus of the Washington & Old Dominion train line, Round Hill was a summer destination spot for DC residents. Now, Round Hill is home to over 6,000 residents. The heart of town has several professional offices, churches, a restaurant, and a convenience store; newer construction communities have popped up on the outskirts of town.

Round Hill residents enjoy their close proximity to Franklin Park, which includes the Franklin Park Arts Center, a community pool, a catch and release pond, walking and equestrian trails, playground area, baseball fields, softball fields, football practice fields, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, disc golf course, and in-line hockey courts. Round Hill is also home to Sleeter Lake Park, an 11 acre lakefront park with picnic area and a soft launch for kayaks and canoes.
