It took years of planning before the original ground breaking in 2008, and after a few hiccups along the way, One Loudoun has finally arrived. Just east of Ashburn on Loudoun County Parkway, this neighborhood was designed for residents to live, work, and play without needing a car. Construction is still underway, with only a portion of the planned 1000+ residences already complete. Single family homes, townhomes (some with elevators) and condos were built by Camberly and Miller & Smith, and NV Homes.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at One Loudoun Plaza opened its doors as one of the first businesses in the complex. Uncle Julio’s Fine Mexican Food (they have a Reston location), Bar Louie (Rockville and DC), and Elevation Burger (Tysons Corner and Falls Church) have locations at One Loudoun. This should continue to be a popular spot as the end of Metro’s Silver Line at Ryan Road in Ashburn nears completion. We’d recommend following the community Facebook page to stay up to date, there’s lots of action in this new neighborhood.
