About Sugarland Run

If you are searching for a neighborhood with a different look than a typical Loudoun neighborhood of colonial style homes, then Sugarland Run in Sterling could be breath of fresh air for you. The 2,600 home community was built with a southwestern architectural influence; the ranch and contemporary styled homes have refreshingly open layouts and flowing floorplans. Fun fact: the homeowners association broadcasts their meetings on Twitch so that all residents can follow along.

Willow Lake sits at the heart of the community and is open for fishing, model boats, and non-motorized boating. The extensive walking paths within the neighborhood encircle the lake and stretch for 26 miles. Sugarland Run’s neighborhood pool is the largest in all of Loudoun County at 50 meters x 25 meters; there is also a diving well and a kiddie pool. (Children in the neighborhood can join the Sugarland Run Dolphins Swim team.) The community also has 13 tot lots, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond.

You can find the neighborhood’s website here. It has a ton of information on life in Sugarland Run, and includes all HOA documents, budgets, board meeting minutes, and more.
