The Foxridge neighborhood in Leesburg is made up of 208 single family homes, tucked in a convenient location just behind Loudoun County High School and adjacent to the W&OD trail. Homes were all built between 1985 and 1989, and are typically some of the most affordable single family homes in Leesburg. Lots sizes are on the smaller side, ranging from .11 to .20 acres, but every home has at least a single car garage, and most have basements. The majority of homes in the Foxridge community have 3 bedrooms, but a portion are 2 bedrooms and there are some 4 bedroom homes too. The home sizes range from 1400 finished square feet on the upper two levels to nearly 2600 square feet.
The community is organized around numerous pipe stems, meaning you could share part of a driveway with your neighbors. Many homes are clustered into groups of 3 or 4 homes on a single pipe stem. This can make for some creative parking situations, but residents seem to make the best of it. We’ve helped numerous clients buy and sell in this neighborhood over the years, and they have all enjoyed living there.
Community amenities include an outdoor pool, tot lot, and tennis courts. You can take a peek at community events and news on their Facebook page.
What We Love:
While the lots are tightly spaced, the floor plans of the homes are inviting, with vaulted ceilings and excellent use of space. This neighborhood is a great option for people that want a lower price point for a Leesburg home without having to live in a townhome with lots of steps. The convenience of the location is pretty amazing, too– Foxridge Park, with it’s playground and ball field, is right next door. (Our daughters played softball on that field when they were little!) The community is less than a mile and a half from downtown Leesburg, with restaurants and shopping. And the W&OD trail runs right past the community. That’s a lot of lifestyle bang for your buck.
