About the LoCo Real Estate Team

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! We hope you enjoy hearing about Loudoun County and real estate in a non-corporate sort of way. We are Heather and Michael Elias, and we got our start in real estate back in 2004. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of helping hundreds of people buy and/or sell homes in Northern Virginia.

We have lived in Loudoun County since 1999, moving here for Mike to take the PGA Head Golf Professional job at Westpark Golf Club. We’ve lived in Sterling, Ashburn, and Leesburg, before finally settling in Purcellville in 2004, building a new construction home in the Village Case neighborhood. We love Loudoun County and relish being unofficial ambassadors to this beautiful place we call home. We’ve raised our four children here–one son and three daughters. As they grew, (we now have two graduated college and two in college) we’ve been heavily involved in youth sports as well as local music and art programs. We continue to look for opportunities to serve our community and give back. In fact, Mike currently serves as the president of the Ashburn Shooting Stars travel softball organization and also coaches the Loudoun Valley Vikings varsity softball team!

We founded this site in 2007 to be our voice and our way to share with you what we think about real estate, things that we see happening in Loudoun County worth noting, and snippets of our life that we hope you’ll enjoy. We later added our real estate search tools, so now you can read the blog and search for homes, all under one digital roof. We’ve worked hard to provide answers to questions about the market and the home buying/selling process, but we love when people reach out to ask about their specific situation.

We are best known for our compassionate service–we want to make sure that we truly listen and deliver for you the experience that you are dreaming of. Our goal is for our clients to have all of the insight and data they need to make the best decisions for their family and their home.

We are affiliated with Century 21 Redwood Realty in Leesburg, Virginia, since 2009.  We can help, whether you are looking for a listing agent or buyer’s agent. It’s our goal to not just help you through a particular transaction, but also to provide the information and insight to help you make educated decisions, plan, and reach your homeownership goals across the years.
