The Scoop:

You can’t help but fall in love with the jewel-box Victorian homes in the Countryside neighborhood in Sterling! From 1981 to 1991, Pulte Homes built most of the homes in this master planned community. What was once a thousand acres of open farmland turned into a community of just over 2,500 homes. There is something to offer everyone in this great first time buyers neighborhood. Homes are a mix of single family homes, manor homes, townhomes, and condos.

What We Love:

The neighborhood amenities are impressive: 3 pools, 5 tennis courts, 10 tot lots, 2 basketball courts, a catch and release pond, and nearly 10 miles of walking trails. You can find a map of all the amenities here. The community’s best kept secret is HorsePen Run Wetland Nature Preserve. Countryside residents get to enjoy the 370 acres of protected land. The preserve is a true nature sanctuary, with 12 different trails of varying lengths. Come visit, but take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints. The preserve prohibits motorized vehicles, horses, hunting, camping, fires, and alcohol.

We’ve sold numerous homes in the community. Our clients tended to be attracted by the tree lined lots, ample amenities, and lovely landscaping. In the springtime, a drive through Countryside surrounds you with color from the blooming trees and flowers throughout. For a full description of amenities, events, and community information, you can find the neighborhood’s website here.
