Gruto’s Ice Cream in Purcellville…Yum!

Following their fantastic victory on Saturday, my daughter’s softball team convened for an after game celebration at Gruto’s Soft Serve Ice Cream in Purcellville.  It’s the first time we had the pleasure of going there; it’s located right on Main Street, just past the blinking light on the right.  The servings were generous, the toppings were plentiful, and I heard a rumor that they have fantastic root bear floats. (I’ll go back and investigate, and report back with the results soon…) If anyone has more information on the menu there, please comment below and share with us!

It was fun to watch the kids all lined up on the curb with their ice cream melting into their fingers and coating their faces. <grin> Hopefully I can get a picture from one of the parents who had cameras with them to add here! (hint, hint, Thunderbolt parents?!?)
