Last week, I wrote about several builders that were faltering in Loudoun County, including the news that Equity Homes had ceased business operations. I drove to Round Hill yesterday and noticed something interesting on the signs at the Highlands at Round Hill; where the Equity logo and information had been was blacked out, but the signs were still standing. Each individual lot available was still clearly marked.
The inventory homes there are already listed with an agent, and they are now being managed by a trustee until they sell. The lots are not currently showing in the available land listings on the multiple listing service as of today. Granted, there are a large number of lots left available, so they may be sorting the paperwork out to get those on the market too. Or, they may attempt to sell the lots to another builder who would then continue with the community? I’ll keep you posted as I learn more.
Cheers,
Heather

Do you know what’s happened to the Equity lots that were at Bull Run Golf Club on James Madison hwy in Prince William County? That’s the neighborhood we were really excited about! Thanks in advance for any info you have!
