I’ve written in the past about the lots that have stayed empty at the Highlands at Round Hill since Equity Homes folded last year. I’ve had so many inquiries into what was happening with those lots that I had a title company do some searching for me, and it looks like we have some answers.
The 50 some lots that were left there are now held by AmTrust Bank, who will sell the lots in bulk to a developer at some point in the future. They will not sell any of the lots individually. So, if you want to build your dream home there, you’ll have to wait until another builder or developer buys them and re-opens the community. Of course, I’ll continue to keep an eye on it and will let you know as soon as that happens.

UPDATE: Carrington Homes ended up buying the lots and finishing out the community. As of June 2020, they are nearly sold out. You can find more information on our Highlands page.
