In case you didn’t know, when our team leader Michael isn’t working with clients, he’s working with some of the best young women in western Loudoun as the varsity softball coach at Loudoun Valley High School. He’s been teaching and coaching sports since 1993, and was a PGA club professional for a long time, too. The Vikings just finished their spring season, making it all the way to the state quarterfinals in Coach Mike’s second year with the program.
This summer, Michael, his staff, and his players will hold a softball skills camp for any young softball players ages 8-14 that want to work on their skills. The camp will be at the Valley field, Valhalla, from July 11th to the 15th, 9:30 am to 2 pm each day. Per the camp registration:
Learn proper mechanics and drills to help improve your pitching, catching, infield, outfield, hitting and base running skills. Each day of the camp will include: specific instruction, modified games, and tons of FUN! Each day bring all of your gear including: bat, glove/mitt, helmet, catcher’s gear, cleats and sneakers, sunscreen, lunch and a water bottle. The Viking Softball Camp is a great way for young players to learn about the game and have fun!
