Heather and I have had the good fortune to build two homes from scratch. Not everyone has had that opportunity, so over the next several months I am detailing the process my clients, John and Pam, are going through during the construction of their new Miller & Smith home. This is Part 11 of that story, you can catch up by reading Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, and Part 10.
The final installment of Pam and John’s New Construction Story, and I’m a little sad that we are at the end.  One last walk through, lots of signatures, and a few beverages for the crew culminated what started with a contract in January. Pam has been away for most of the process, but through the magic of Skype she has been able to be a part of the important steps. She was a trooper sitting through all of the paperwork (thanks to John’s daughter Kate for holding the phone).
These are the fun days in my job, when you get to see a dream come true. John told me he never in his life thought he would have a chance to buy a brand new home, let alone build one. Well now you have, congratulations! I hope your new home brings lots of great memories, thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
Cheers,
Mike
