Heather and I have had the good fortune to build two homes from scratch. Not everyone has had that opportunity, so over the next several months I am detailing the process my clients, John and Pam, are going through during the construction of their new Miller & Smith home. This is Part 4 of that story, but you can catch up by reading Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
WOW, these Miller & Smith folks aren’t fooling around! I was shocked to see how much progress has been made since my last visit. In the last 10 days we have had all of the framing completed, exterior walls covered, roof built with the felt underlayment in place, and windows installed. Now that the John and Pam’s new home is under roof, the interior work can begin. The progress from week to week won’t be as dramatic as what we have seen in the first month, but there are still exciting times ahead. Check back next week for the latest update.
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. The story is complete. Read part five here: Pam & John’s New Construction Story, Part 5
