Heather and I have had the good fortune to build two homes from scratch. Not everyone has had that opportunity, so over the next several months I am detailing the process my clients, John and Pam, are going through during the construction of their new Miller & Smith home. This is Part 5 of that story, but you can catch up by reading Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4.
Only a few differences on the exterior this week, shingles on the roof and the remainder of the windows in place. Most of the progress has been made inside the home; the kitchen island frame is in, the gas fireplace was installed, some of the duct work was completed, and a few electrical boxes were put in place. Check back next week for the next update.
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. The story is complete. Read part 6 here: Pam & John’s New Construction Story, Part 6
