October 2019 Update:
Westpark Golf Club has closed the doors permanently and ceased operations. You can read more at our post Farewell, Westpark Golf Club.
Westpark Golf Club is one of Loudoun County’s best kept golfing secrets. Located just off the Route 7 West/ 15 South bypass in Leesburg, the course was designed by Ed Ault and opened in 1968. Originally named Leesburg Country Club, Westpark appeals to golfers at all playing levels.
You can see that the property was originally a farm, as the silo and barn remain to house the golf carts. Homes were constructed in the Leesburg Country Club neighborhood surrounding the course in the years after it opened for play. While there is no affiliation between the neighborhood and the club, many residents choose to purchase memberships and enjoy playing the course.
The clubhouse holds a full service pro shop, with equipment, golf apparel, and accessories. The driving range is open year-round and practice putting and chipping greens are available. Golf instruction is available for all skill levels, and every summer the club hosts a junior golf camp for a hundred budding golfers. The course also hosts several charity golf events each year.
The most up to date information on daily play rates, yearly memberships, range plan costs, and available tee times can be found on their website.
Cheers,
Heather
