Lest you think all I do is write this blog, drink coffee and margaritas, and coach softball, here’s a little update of what I’ve been doing: We put this listing in Purcellville under contract last month, now I’m working to find it’s soon to be former owner a new home in Broadlands. Anyone there with…

As anyone who’s driven through town can attest, the new Purcellville Gateway project is humming along. The new traffic circle was opened several days ago as they finish the curbing…definitely going to take some getting used to. I think I’m 2 for 3 on almost getting hit driving through there by folks who don’t know…

So we’ve looked recently at what kind of house you can buy if your budget is $400k, $500k, or $600k in Loudoun County. Some move up buyers fall into the $700,000 price range; what kind of real estate falls into that budget? Amazingly, there is not a whole lot to pick from. As of today, there are only 41…

Inventory is slim pickin’s at the moment, with only 62…

Loudoun voters approved a bond referendum in 2005 to fund it; 10 years of contentious negotiations had…

Saturday brought many holiday celebrations across Loudoun County, and we spent the afternoon in Purcellville, having a blast at the annual Christmas parade. No matter which town in Loudoun you live in, you can get that hometown feel at the holidays with parades and activities. Here’s some photos I took: If you’d like…

Remember that photo? From right when construction was begun at Cole Farm/Purcellville Gateway? Me too. It looks a little different out there now, with the barn gone, the house moved, and the silo just starting to be rebuilt. You can clearly see where the commercial and retail buildings are going in now. Walls are shaping…

I’m sure you are just as frustrated with our stinkbug infestation as I am. Could not believe it when I went to get gas yesterday, and saw this on the display… Yep, that little sucker is on the inside of the display. I’ve found them in all sorts of odd places, but this one…
